Ottawa’s fuel market spreads across its former municipalities — Nepean, Kanata, Orléans, Gloucester and Barrhaven all have their own station clusters — and the Costco gas bars anchor the low end for members in several of them. Around each warehouse, nearby independents and majors price against the Costco floor, so those retail nodes tend to be the cheapest pockets in the city even for non-members.
One quirk of filling up in the capital: crossing the river rarely helps. Gatineau prices generally run higher than Ottawa’s because Quebec levies more fuel tax, so the traffic at the pumps flows Ontario-ward, not the other way. The list below ranks every Ottawa-area station we track — suburbs included — by current price, refreshed hourly.
